Ella is passionate about supporting individuals and couples to thrive in all aspects of their lives. Ella can provide guidance for people wanting more fulfulling relationships and sex lives, and also offers deeper therapy for those who want to overcome the past, so that they can move through life with a sense of lightness and ease.
‘Ella is an Accredited Counsellor / Psychotherapist, Clinical Sexologist and EMDR Therapist and Supervisor who has supported hundreds of individuals and couples over the last 10 years. She specialises in relationship counselling, sex therapy, EMDR and Internal Family Systems. Ella offers individual and couple counselling for a range of client concerns. Sessions are available in person in Cairns, Tropical Far North Queensland Australia, or via Zoom from wherever you are.

QUALIFICATIONS
“Evolution of Intimacy” is a culmination of many years training and studying. Formal Qualifications include Masters of Sexology Professional, Bachelor Degree in Behavioural Science, Diploma in Transpersonal Counselling, Graduate Certificate in Emotionally Focused Therapy, Diploma of Leadership and Management, Certificate in Addiction Studies, Certificate in Psychedelic Assisted Therapy and a fully accredited EMDR therapist and consultant with EMDRAA. Ella is formally trained in Internal Family Systems with the IFS Institute.
ACCREDITATION
I am Accredited with the Pyschotherapy and Counselling Asociation of Australia (PACFA), The Australian Counselling Association (ACA)- Level 4, Accredited Practioner & Consultant with EMDR Association of Australian (EMDRAA) and am fully accredited with the Society of Australian Sexologists. I offer Psychedelic Integration sessions from a harm minimisation perspective, and I am an Accredited Clinical Counselling Supervisor with the Australian College of Supervisors. I am also officially trained in Internal Family Systems.
EXPERIENCE
My diary is currently open full time to private clients, new and returning clients are welcome, my private practice has been supporting Cairns locals and beyond for 3years now. Prior to this I managed the Cairns Sexual Assault Service for 2 years, and before that worked at Relationships Australia for 3 years as a relationship counsellor and trauma therapist. Further back in my career I worked as Mental Health Recovery Coach, Drug and Alcohol Counsellor and group facilitator and when I first moved to the region I owned and operated the Port Douglas Happy Herb Shop.
For 10 years in my 20’s & 30’s I dedicated myself to learning about Yoga and Spirituality and completed a suite of Tantra, Yoga, Meditation and Energy Work Teacher Training programs and Accreditations.
