PSYCHEDELIC INTEGRATION
Ella holds a ‘Certificate of Psychedelic Assisted Therapy’ and is a member of The Australian Multidisciplinary Association of Psychedelic Therapists. In Australia, Registered Psychiatrists can prescribe MDMA and Psilocybin for treatment resistant depressiona and PTSD, however treatment is not currently accessibile outside of clinical trials. There is enormous potential for a range of treatment options such as MDMA assisted couples therapy when these medicines become more widely available. Until then, Integration sessions are available in Cairns with Ella, to support people who have undertaken community healing circles or sessions and want to ensure they get the most benefit out of this work.

HAVE SOME
QUESTIONS?
What is Psychedelic Assisted Therapy?
With so many people experiencing mental health issues in the world, and many of those people not gaining relief through conventional anti-depressant medications, there has been a resurgence of interest in the use of psychedelics such as MDMA and Psilocybin as part of a course of psychotherapy. The Australian Government has provided $15 Million for organisations to conduct trials, and many of these are currently recruiting or taking place. These therapies are not available legally outside of trials in Australia at this stage, however many people are travelling overseas to access them legally. Many people are forced to access underground practitioners in the community or to utilise these medicines without the support of a therapist or guide. Many countries around the world are changing their laws so that people can take advantage of the many healing benefits that have been determined, it is expected that Australia will follow at some stage.
What is Psychedelic Integration?
These sessions are for anyone who is setting out to take part in Psychedelic Assisted Therapy, or who has already experienced Psychedelic therapy. It is very important that ample preparation for the experience is taken, that people have good information about this work and that after any Psychedelic healing they have some sessions that can help integrate their experience into their daily life. People who have taken psychedelics as a self-exploration or in a more celebratory way may also benefit from sessions.
Can I receive Psychedelic Therapy with Ella?
Ella is fully qualified to act as a guide for Psychedelic Assisted Therapy using MDMA and Psilocybin, via undertaking the Mind Medicine Australia Certificate of Psychedelic Assisted Therapies. At this stage no therapist can legally provide this therapy outside of a clinical trial.
